AgroCottem®

AgroCottem® is a complementary product developed by TerraCottem NV for the vegetable culture.

When harvesting some vegetables, the roots are a part of the vegetable or the harvesting itself is made in a way that the roots are taken out of the soil. As the roots are looking for water, they are were the hydro-absorbing polymers are. Therefore, it is neccessary to put some polymers back in the ground after a few crops.

That is why AgroCottem has been developed. It renews the fertilisers, and partially, the polymers. As these polymers are the most expensive part of the mixture, AgroCottem is only about half the price in production. Transport, import taxes and other handling costs, mean that it will only be 25% less expensive. (See calculations buy in price)
